Our Story
Founded in 2015 by Nick van Rensburg, in collaboration with Vunani Capital Partners and Genesis Analytics, Phakamani Impact Capital has emerged as a prominent entity in Development Finance solutions, enterprise and supplier development and skills training. Rooted in the mining and community sectors, our organisation has garnered unique insights into grassroots entrepreneurship and staff skills development.

Our goal is to be a sustainable, impact-driven organisation that thrives under strong leadership. We focus on significant impacts within SME, ESD ecosystems, and skills development through impact capital, training, mentoring, and coaching. The acquisition of Maccauvlei Learning Academy in December 2022 boosts our skills development capabilities. Further to this our acquisition of ExecuTrain in January 2025 helps us to boost our technology training in the skills development sector. We use bespoke processes, systems, and digital platforms to monitor funding, economic impact, supplier and community development, career development, and, skills enhancement. We excel in development finance, enterprise and supplier development, and skills improvement, and driving substantial change in the economy.
